XEON CPU 정리

인텔 제온 CPU 에 대해서 정리해 보고자 한다...

일단 위키 페이지를 보면, 3000이 UP(1소켓), 5000이 DP(2소켓) 이고 7000이 MP (4소켓) 이라고 한다.

 

근데 요새 나오는 CPU들을 보면 E5-XXXX 이런식이다..

예를 들어 E5-2690 , E5-4650 ....

이걸 보면 5000 , 7000 으로 네이밍되지 않는데 그럼 어떻게 DP/MP 를 확인할 수 있는가?

그래서 다시 영문 위키를 뒤져 보았다.

일단 E5-xxxx 가 샌디브릿지라는 건 알고 있으니깐,

DP 쪽에 Sandy Bridge 라는 게 있는 걸 확인해서...우선은 DP라고 믿고 있다. ㅋㅋ

four-processor 라면 4소켓 짜리 아닌가? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 아놩... 모르게썽..

근데 샌디브릿지-EP면 DP 라며... 4소켓이면 MP아냐??  ㅠ_ㅠ

어 ? 근데 밑에 보니까 듀얼 프로세서랑 멀티 프로세서 이 차이인 거 같은데..

일단 멀티프로세서 이면 E7 인 것 같다! E5면 듀얼프로세서고!
